Shannon & Wilson is a Seattle-based, employee-owned consulting firm offering geotechnical, engineering geology, environmental, and natural resource services since 1954. We seek a Marketing Coordinator to prepare proposals, maintain Cosential CRM data, and develop marketing collateral while coordinating with staff across offices.

You will support win strategies, manage CRM and project descriptions, and help plan events and industry communications. Travel to support other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree in marketing/communications or related field.
• 0–4 years of marketing experience with an Architectural/Engineering/Construction services firm.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to support Shannon & Wilson offices.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Cosential marketing software experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality Proposals and SF 330’s.
• Coordinate elements of complex proposals with limited supervision.
• Work with technical staff on go/no-go forms.
• Attend pre-proposal meetings and document debrief sessions.
• Assist with in-house win strategy sessions and shortlist interview preparation.
• Create and maintain marketing materials such as resumes, biographies, project descriptions, project photographs, and collateral materials.
• Research and communicate potential business leads and prepare weekly reports.
• Input, maintenance, and templates for Cosential database.
• Maintain CRM information.
• Create advertisements, graphics, and sales-related metrics, documents, and records.
• Coordinate special events (e.g., conferences/exhibits).
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate awards submissions and presentations, press releases, and articles in trade publications, local media, and company website and social media.
• Interact with and facilitate communications with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
• Assist with preparation of engineering reports, permit applications, proposals, and other documents.
• Follow Shannon & Wilson’s Quality Assurance policy.
• Follow and promote Health & Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
