Job summary

Shannon & Wilson is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support proposals, marketing materials, and client communications from our offices in the United States. You will organize go/no-go processes, maintain Cosential data, and coordinate client-focused collateral and events.

In this entry-level to junior role, you’ll work with technical staff on submittals, resumes, project descriptions, and marketing campaigns, while gaining experience in strategy sessions and proposal development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field.
  • 0–4 years of marketing experience with an Architectural/Engineering/ Construction services firm.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Personable, flexible, and professional demeanor.
  • The ability to travel to support the needs of other Shannon & Wilson offices.
  • A valid driver license and insurable driving record.
  • Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel (required); MS Access (desirable).
  • Marketing computer skills: Cosential (required).
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking (with or without accommodations)

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain marketing materials such as resumes, biographies, project descriptions, project photographs, and collateral materials.
  • Research and communicate potential business leads and pursuits and prepare weekly reports.
  • Perform input, maintenance, and templates for Cosential database.
  • Maintain client relationship management (CRM) information.
  • Create advertisements, graphics, and sales-related metrics, documents, and records.
  • Coordinate special events (e.g., conferences/exhibits).
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate awards submissions and presentations, press releases, and articles in trade publications, local media, and company website and social media.
  • Interact with and facilitate communications with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
  • Assist with preparation of engineering reports, permit applications, proposals, and other documents.
  • Follow Shannon & Wilson’s Quality Assurance policy.
  • Follow and promote Shannon & Wilson’s Health & Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Level Placement

Typically, depending on an applicant’s education, experience, overall abilities, alignment with the needs of the company and local office culture, and the current business needs, an Entry-Level Marketing Coordinator typically would be placed at a Shannon & Wilson Office Services I, II, or III level.

Compensation:

Office Services I: $23.00 - $29.25

Office Services II & III: $28.25 - $41.00
