Job summary

NewEdge Capital Group LLC is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support campaigns, events, social media, and internal communications across NewEdge Wealth and NewEdge Capital Group.

The role involves collaborating with Directors and Marketing Managers, coordinating events (national conferences, tradeshows, client events, webinars), and overseeing promotional items. Based in Stamford, CT or New York, NY with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of internal and external marketing campaigns, business development support, and strategic initiatives across NewEdge Wealth and NewEdge Capital Group.
• Coordinate and prepare events, including national conferences, tradeshows, client events, and webinars.
• Oversee corporate promotional items and sourcing of promotional products, apparel, and client gifts.
• Manage relationships with external vendors (photographers, venues, etc.).
• Coordinate and manage social posts across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Draft, edit, and format external and internal communications, presentations, newsletters, and social posts.

Job description

As a Marketing Coordinator, every day is different. You will have the opportunity to work across many subject areas, including marketing campaigns, business development support, social media, event planning, and more. The ideal candidate for this position is a hardworking, highly motivated individual who has excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude. This individual will have an opportunity to learn from and collaborate with the best marketers in the business.

Locations: Stamford, CT or New York, NY

• Support the Director of Marketing and Marketing Managers with the planning and execution of internal and external marketing campaigns, business development support, and strategic initiatives across NewEdge Wealth and NewEdge Capital Group.
• Assist with the coordination and preparation of events, including national conferences, tradeshows, client events, and webinars. Attend events as needed.
• Oversee corporate promotional items, including the selecting and sourcing of promotional products, apparel, and client gifts.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors including photographers, production companies, event venues, and more.
• Manage the planning and execution of social posts including but not limited to LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Assist in drafting, editing, proofreading, and formatting external and internal email communications, presentations, newsletters, and social posts.
• Compile analytics and reporting for marketing campaigns and automation tools while learning to analyze and measure performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
• Support the business development team with recruiting initiatives. Assist with the onboarding of transitioning teams including but not limited to coordinating headshots, biographies, marketing materials, and special requests.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, or related fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, including being polished, courteous, professional, and patient
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Willingness to travel on a limited basis to industry conferences and corporate events

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience in the financial services field
• Familiarity with content management and publishing tools
• Experience with email marketing platforms, specifically HubSpot
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite

Hourly Rate: $24.04 - $28.85, based on experience, plus eligibility to participate in the company's bonus program
