Job summary

NewEdge Capital Group invites interns to join for an 8-week, in-person summer program in Stamford, CT and/or New York, NY. This hands-on experience places you with professionals serving ultra-high-net-worth clients, offering exposure to marketing, operations, and wealth management.

The role emphasizes learning through real projects, mentorship, and collaboration across teams. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week at a $25/hour pay rate; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of 1 year in a bachelor’s-level program.
• Prior industry experience or relevant coursework in the company’s division (i.e., IT, HR/legal, sales/marketing or wealth management) is preferred.
• Verbal communication, Organization, Scheduling, Professionalism, Confidentiality are expected.

Responsibilities

• Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of client and customer service.
• Accepts designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present during the internship.
• Engages with advisors, clients and other team members to provide service, marketing and/or sales, as appropriate.
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
• Assists in creating client reviews, marketing books, business analysis and investment reports.
• Integrates into the team and works standard business hours, taking on real responsibilities alongside full-time staff.

Next summer, join NewEdge Wealth for an 8-week, in-person internship where you'll learn from professionals with decades of experience serving ultra high net worth individuals and families. We combine best-in-class technology, world-class investment capabilities, and superior client service to help our clients navigate the complexities of their wealth. As an intern, you'll see how it all comes together and be part of the team that makes it happen.

Location: In person at our Stamford, CT and/or New York City, NY office
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Pay: $25.00 per hour

Interview Process:

Our process has two steps. Candidates will be notified if they're selected to move forward.

• Virtual Interview: Selected candidates will meet with our team virtually.
• Super Day: Candidates who advance will be invited to a Super Day, held in person or virtually.
  • In-person dates: December 21st and 22nd
  • Locations: Stamford, CT or New York, NY (travel is not reimbursed)
  • Virtual option: Available

Online Assessment

Super Day candidates will also complete a 20-30 minute online assessment through Criteria Corp, a third-party pre-employment assessment provider. It helps us get a fuller picture of each candidate's skills and strengths.
