We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team!

The Marketing team at Wheelhouse DMG drives brand awareness and audience growth through strategic campaigns and content initiatives. Our team manages everything from social media presence and content creation to podcast production and digital marketing analytics. We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to provide executional and administrative support that helps our marketing team build brand awareness and increase the audience for Wheelhouse DMG.

The right applicant will be detail-oriented, proactive in their approach to marketing tasks, and excited to learn and grow within the digital marketing industry while handling the essential day-to-day operations that keep our marketing efforts running smoothly.

Overall Goals

  • Own the day-to-day execution of social media, ensuring consistent and high-quality posting across platforms
  • Adhere to content calendars and ensure campaigns and assets remain on schedule
  • Manage podcast publishing and promotional workflows, including vendor communication
  • Support streamlined and accurate reporting processes for digital marketing channels
  • Proactively contribute process improvements and creative ideas to enhance campaign execution

Responsibilities

As a Marketing Coordinator at Wheelhouse DMG, you wil l provide executional and administrative support across key marketing functions, helping our marketing team build brand awareness and increase the audience for Wheelhouse DMG including:

  • Schedule, publish, and engage on social platforms
  • Monitor marketing analytics and assist with monthly reporting
  • Coordinate with freelancers or vendors as needed
  • Perform basic proofreading and formatting tasks for content and communications
  • Assist with identifying, inviting, and coordinating podcast guests
  • Assist in podcast publishing: preparing show notes, uploading episodes, and scheduling promotional posts
  • Support basic website updates in WordPress (publishing articles, making minor edits, etc.)
  • Conduct basic search and AI research optimization of website content
  • Document internal processes and maintain an organized content calendar

Experience & Skills

  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in a marketing support role, internship, or similar capacity
  • Proficiency in Canva, Mailchimp, and social media platforms (especially LinkedIn)
  • Basic familiarity with WordPress and willingness to learn CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Strong organizational skills and an eagerness to learn and take ownership
  • Excellent written communication and a collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Bonus experience (preferred but not required):
  • Zapier or workflow automation
  • Podcast production or publishing workflows
  • Google Analytics 4 or other analytics platforms

This is a 6-month contract position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Wheelhouse DMG is a remote-first company with twice-yearly travel requirements, meaning the right candidate can live anywhere in the U.S.

Full compensation packages are based on the skills and experience of the candidate. Candidates hired in this role should expect an offer in this range. The monetary value of additional benefits, such as insurance, time-off and fringe benefits are not included in this range. This only outlines the value of the salary portion of the offer. Compensation Range

$64,000 - $82,000 USD
