Job summary

Schlaich bergermann partner (sbp) is seeking a proactive Marketing Coordinator to support its North American marketing and business development efforts. The role can be full- or part-time, based in New York City or Los Angeles, with flexible hours and remote working.

You will prepare RFP materials, maintain marketing content, track opportunities, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and assist with presentations and press communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong writing and visual skills.
• 2–3 years of administrative and/or marketing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

schlaich bergermann partner (sbp) are independent consulting engineers active in all areas of structural engineering with offices located across Europe, North America (including New York and Los Angeles), South America, the Middle East, Australia and Asia. Our goal is the design and construction of sustainable, sophisticated, and elegant structures. These range from long-span, lightweight roof structures, versatile bridges, slender towers, innovative high-rise buildings to pioneering solar power plants.

We are looking for a proactive individual to support sbp’s marketing and business development efforts across North America. As Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development (LA) and provide support across a broad range of marketing and business development activities.

The position is open to both full- or part-time applicants in New York City or Los Angeles.

Your Tasks

Marketing & Business Development Support:

• Assist in preparing RFP response materials, including: Project references, staff CVs, firm profiles, required forms, and other proposal materials
• Assist in maintaining and creating new marketing and acquisition materials
• Track new project opportunities and upcoming deadlines
• Coordination and communication with internal teams and external partners and clients
• Update client and project databases
• Support the preparation of presentations (PowerPoint) for lectures, meetings, and interviews
• Assist with the creation of award applications
• Help craft internal and external communications (press releases, project updates, photo acquisition, social media posts)

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Communications, or a related field with strong writing and visual skills
• 2-3 years of administrative and/or marketing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and InDesign)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and a proactive approach to work
