Description

Central State Bank is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Coordinator to lead integrated marketing initiatives and manage corporate and community events that strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement. This role is responsible for developing marketing strategies, overseeing promotional campaigns, and planning high-impact events that support the bank’s business objectives and community presence. The ideal candidate blends marketing expertise with strong organizational and project management skills.

Event Responsibilities
  • Lead the bank’s event management strategy and execution approach in support of various relationship-building and business development objectives
  • The bank's events span a wide variety of sizes and duration, and encompass community events, luncheons, seminars and roundtables, and third-party sponsorships
  • Occasional work on evenings and weekends to support events
  • Develop, promote, produce and analyze the effectiveness of market-facing events, including branded and co-branded programs; sponsorships; client entertainment, networking and appreciation events; and other events tied to the bank's strategic initiatives
  • Provide advanced meeting and event planning expertise from event concept to goal setting, working with internal committees and bank leadership
  • Organize activities related to agenda setting, vendor coordination, budget management, venue sourcing and contract negotiation, logistics management and seeing every event through flawless execution
  • Leading volunteers and event committees
  • Supervising event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Analyze event operations and suggest areas for improvement, including providing expertise on the utilization of technology tools and advanced automation and efficiency capabilities
  • Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and attendee feedback, and incorporate learning into future event plans
Marketing Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s brand, goals, and growth initiatives
  • Manage brand messaging and ensure consistency across all marketing materials, events, and communication channels
  • Lead marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, and in-branch platforms
  • Collaborate with leadership, branch teams, and vendors to align marketing and event initiatives with customer engagement goals
  • Analyze campaign and event performance metrics to optimize future initiatives
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, media partners, and community organizations
  • Ensure all marketing and event activities comply with banking regulations and internal policies
  • Support public relations efforts and represent the bank at community and industry events as needed
Sponsorship/Donation Request Responsibilities
  • Receive, organize, and manage a high volume of donation and sponsorship requests from schools, sports teams, nonprofits, community organizations, and other groups within the communities we serve.
  • Review and evaluate requests based on established company guidelines, community impact, available resources, and alignment with our business and community-support priorities.
  • Responsible for identifying and securing new sponsorship opportunities, managing existing partnerships, and driving brand awareness through innovative and strategic sponsorships
  • Manage the implementation, execution, and ongoing administration of sponsorship and partnership agreements and initiatives
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for partners, sponsors, vendors, and external organizations
  • Track partnership deliverables, milestones, renewals, and organizational obligations, proactively resolving operational issues to support successful execution
  • Facilitate communication, partner outreach, meetings, presentations, and related materials to strengthen engagement and collaboration
  • Maintain strong partner and sponsor relationships, identify opportunities to enhance value and engagement, and support long-term partnership success
  • Manage multiple partnership initiatives simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities
  • Work closely with accounting team on all sponsorships and donations
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (required)
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated experience managing events
  • Strong knowledge of branding, integrated marketing campaigns, and event planning best practices
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and marketing analytics
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors effectively
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism, adaptability, and regulatory awareness
