Position: Marketing Coordinator

Company: Pen Pioneer LLC (Veteran-Owned Staffing & Recruiting Firm)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)

Compensation: $55,000 – $75,000 base salary + Performance Bonus + Growth Path

About Pen Pioneer:

Pen Pioneer is a veteran-owned staffing and recruiting firm providing permanent placement, contract staffing, subscription recruiting, and executive search services across multiple industries, including construction, legal, healthcare, manufacturing, IT, and logistics. As we scale nationally, we're looking to bring on a Marketing Coordinator to execute our growing outbound and inbound marketing strategy.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with leadership to plan, execute, and optimize marketing initiatives designed to generate leads, build brand awareness, and support both sales and recruiting teams. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing email campaigns, social media, lead lists, content creation, CRM hygiene, and general marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Campaign Management

  • Build and manage outbound email campaigns using platforms like Instantly, Apollo, or Lemlist.
  • Oversee list building, data enrichment, and email domain management for cold outreach.
  • Monitor email performance, domain health, and deliverability rates.

Content & Social Media

  • Create and schedule social media content (LinkedIn, company updates, employer branding).
  • Coordinate with recruiters and leadership to spotlight success stories, placements, and hiring campaigns.
  • Develop basic marketing collateral (flyers, one-pagers, graphics).

Website & SEO

  • Manage website updates (WordPress or Webflow experience a plus).
  • Execute basic SEO improvements, keyword targeting, and blog/article posting.
  • Monitor web traffic, optimize lead capture forms, and track inbound inquiries.

Sales & Recruiting Support

  • Build client-facing decks, proposal templates, and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with sales and recruiting teams to ensure marketing alignment with target industries and job openings.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy for lead source tracking and reporting.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track campaign metrics, open rates, conversion rates, and lead sources.
  • Provide weekly reports on marketing performance and lead activity.
  • Suggest ongoing improvements to increase pipeline generation.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B services, staffing, or recruiting industries.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong writing, copywriting, and basic graphic design skills.
  • Experience managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
  • Familiar with lead generation platforms (Apollo, Instantly, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tech-savvy with strong Excel, Google Sheets, and basic analytics capability.
  • Bonus: Experience with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow).
  • Bonus: SEO, paid ads, or LinkedIn Ads experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 (DOE)
  • Quarterly Performance Bonuses tied to lead generation and campaign success.
