About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator provides support to the Marketing Team. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the strategy and production of marketing materials, as well as assisting in the effort of internal and external communications tasks, such as newsletters, press releases, social media, blog posts, and website maintenance, with key responsibilities including:

  • Assist in brand management across all facets of company marketing, including drafting and updating internal and external communications, presentation materials and messaging.
  • Develop and maintain marketing content including narratives and photography for proposals, award submissions, brochures, company website design, social media, e-blasts, brochures, campaigns, press releases, signage, etc.
  • Compile and maintain marketing CRM database of client and project information to be used in marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate project photography, including processing in-house for various media.
  • Assist with developing and capturing content for multi-media projects, i.e., designing static pieces and creating high‑quality content, including video e-blasts.
  • Research new blogs and channels for trends and industry news.
  • Assist with RFP responses and other proposal requests as needed.
  • Assist with implementing new marketing initiatives, such as those related to launching new studios, additional service offerings, and specific project campaigns.
  • Assist in event coordination for clients and executing event marketing campaigns, creating invitations, managing RSVP lists, and performing day‑of logistics activities such as .
  • Assist in identifying and selecting promotional items which reflect GHT brand standards for client giveaways, trade shows, conferences, and events.
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships through attendance of professional organization events and programs.
  • Assist Business Development staff in managing client information in existing CRM system.
  • Help drive and coordinate employee engagement for GHT by partnering with HR for employee programming and internal communication efforts through graphic design for flyers, recruiting event support, general event coordination and set‑up support as needed.
  • Assist with internal GHT events and HR projects as needed, including company newsletter, company picnic, employee Happy Hours, and company holiday party.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1‑3 years marketing in a professional services environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a self‑starter/self‑motivated who can take direction and perform tasks with periodic supervision.
  • Must possess a positive, can‑do attitude (seeks out answers independently where possible).
  • Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize while working in a fast‑paced environment, including working well under pressure and adhering to set deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and attention to detail; accurate and monitors own work to ensure quality results.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Collaborate with others on teams or work independently on tasks as directed.
  • Experience with the following programs: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Graphic Design (Canva, or similar); CRM (such as Unanet or Deltek)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, o r equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Able to see and distinguish colors, as well as hear and speak effectively.
    • Able to occasionally lift/carry/move up to twenty pounds of marketing‑related materials with or without assistance.
    • Able to travel to local/regional events as needed with notice.
  • Preferred:
    • Fundamental understanding of the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry, including an understanding of the key players, the decision‑making process, local firms and market trends. Prior preference in the A/E/C arena strongly preferred.
    • Marketing and/or industry‑specific certificate or other credentials with demonstrated interest in growing knowledge.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States with no current or future visa sponsorship, or transfer of visa. GHT participates in E‑Verify.
  • Must successfully complete pre‑employment background check and drug test.
