Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join a cross-functional team that develops and publishes customer-facing information and marketing materials, maintains social media and the association website, and supports Public Affairs activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams to promote Farm Credit East's brand and values. A hybrid work model is available after two weeks of employment, with compensation aligned to experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, business administration, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of communications, website content development, marketing principles and practices; preparing marketing materials, including oral and written communication to effectively exchange information with peers, supervisor and customers; planning and coordinating projects.
• We offer hybrid work options after two weeks of employment with Farm Credit East. Hybrid work options are determined based on job role and balancing the needs of the customers, the team, and individual work performance.

Responsibilities

• Creates content for Farm Credit East social media networks
• Assists in creation of email campaigns to reach targeted customers and prospects
• Assists in maintenance of association brand websites, including coordination of web inquiries, as needed
• Assists in the development of Today's Harvest blog content
• Develops consistent PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings
• Assists with the development and ordering of marketing content including brochures, folders, ads and tradeshow displays
• Assists in the coordination and promotion of Farm Credit East participation at internal and external events
• Organizes marketing materials on intranet site ensuring appropriate resources are available for staff
• Coordinates ad materials in digital and print media for local marketplace and sponsorship requests
• Serves in a backup capacity for members of the Marketing Communications team, as appropriate
