Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join a cross-functional team that develops and publishes customer-facing information and marketing materials. The role covers updating social media, managing the Association website, and supporting Public Affairs and Knowledge Exchange activities.

The position emphasizes collaboration across teams to promote the Farm Credit East brand, with hybrid work options after two weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, business administration, related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of communications, website content development, marketing principles and practices; preparing marketing materials, including oral and written communication to exchange information with peers, supervisor and customers; planning and coordinating projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates content for Farm Credit East social media networks.
• Assists in creation of email campaigns to reach targeted customers and prospects.
• Assists in maintenance of association brand websites, including coordination of web inquiries, as needed.
• Assists in the development of Today's Harvest blog content.
• Develops consistent PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings.
• Assists with the development and ordering of marketing content including brochures, folders, ads and tradeshow displays.
• Coordinates ad materials in digital and print media for local marketplace and sponsorship requests.
• Serves in a backup capacity for members of the Marketing Communications team, as appropriate.
• Maintains an updated list of farm and non-farm media contacts.
• Monitors Farm Credit East media coverage.
• Develops quarterly report on social media activity.
• Develops a quarterly report of Knowledge Exchange/Marketing Communications activity to the Farm Credit East Board's Governance/Stewardship Committee.
