Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join a cross-functional team focused on customer and community success. The role supports the Association's marketing communications plan, creates content for social media, emails, websites, and blogs, and assists with public affairs initiatives.

The position offers hybrid work after two weeks, with responsibilities across branding, events, and internal/external communications.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, business administration, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Knowledge of communications, website content development, marketing principles and practices; preparing marketing materials, including oral and written communication to effectively exchange information with peers, supervisor and customers; planning and coordinating projects.
• We offer hybrid work options after two weeks of employment with Farm Credit East. Hybrid work options are determined based on job role and balancing the needs of the customers, the team, and individual work performance. This will be reviewed based on manager discretion.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Creates content for Farm Credit East social media networks
• Marketing Communications: Develops consistent PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings
• Reporting: Maintains an updated list of farm and non-farm media contacts
• General responsibilities: Organizes marketing materials on intranet site and coordinates ad materials in digital and print media
