Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to tell our story and promote the programs and services that strengthen Jefferson and Franklin Counties. Based in Hillsboro, MO, this Full-Time, Exempt role offers a Hybrid schedule, a 36-hour workweek, Fridays off occasionally (4-day week), and a starting pay of $20.70 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

You will create materials, write content, manage social media, and help expand our outreach

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years marketing, communications, or social media management.
• Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create marketing materials, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
• Write engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
• Capture and edit photos and videos highlighting agency programs, events, and community impact.
• Manage JFCAC social media platforms and digital presence.
• Assist with website updates, email marketing, and outreach efforts.
• Support agency events and community engagement activities.
