The Role

We’re seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist who is passionate about technology and deeply knowledgeable about the modern B2B MarTech stack. In this role, you will take full ownership of executing and optimizing our marketing automation processes to drive lead generation, enhance customer engagement, and support data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, you will work fully remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams located around the globe. You must be comfortable working independently as well as flexibly across time zones.

About You

You are a technically skilled marketer who loves tackling complex challenges and streamlining processes through innovative automation and GenAI technologies. You’re not afraid to dive into the intricacies of the MarTech stack—from CDPs and Salesforce to Google Analytics and SQL—to ensure every campaign runs efficiently with precise data attribution. You take ownership of your work, excel in a remote setting, and have a proven track record of delivering impactful, data-driven results. What You'll Be Doing

  1. Build, manage, and optimize marketing automation workflows in Marketo (or similar platforms) for email nurtures, drip campaigns, landing pages, and lead scoring.
  2. Implement best practices for campaign execution, lead generation, and digital customer engagement.
  3. Support growth marketing initiatives by setting up experiments and ensuring clean, accurate attribution.
  4. Manage and troubleshoot data flows between platforms, ensuring accurate conversion tracking and attribution.
  5. Collaborate with web developers to execute and track marketing experiments.

Data & Analytics Focus:

  1. Develop and refine marketing use cases that leverage analytics tools to optimize campaign performance.
  2. Support the Data Engineer by running SQL queries to extract and analyze marketing data.
  3. Ensure full visibility into performance metrics, allowing for better forecasting and strategic adjustments.

Process Improvement & Automation with GenAI:

  1. Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions—streamlining marketing processes through automation and GenAI technologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Assist the Head of Marketing Operations with monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  2. Work closely with global team members to share best practices and troubleshoot marketing tools, acting as an evangelist for digital technology across the business.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

  1. 3-5 years in marketing operations, marketing automation, analytics, or a similar role.
  2. Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred; certification is a plus) and a strong understanding of modern B2B MarTech ecosystems.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in leading analytics and tag management tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
  2. Experience working with APIs and webhooks, either directly or via middleware tools such as Zapier, Make, or N8N.
  3. Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Zapier.
  4. Ability to run SQL queries to extract and analyze marketing data.
  5. Proficiency with HTML and CSS for both email marketing and landing page customization.

Analytical & Problem Solving:

  1. Understanding of marketing attribution, campaign tracking, and reporting methodologies.
  2. Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring high data integrity and actionable insights.

Soft Skills:

  1. Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  2. Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate technical details and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Flexible and adaptable, capable of working with asynchronous communications and accommodating different time zones.
