Job summary

Ornua is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team across brand, customer marketing, eCommerce, sponsorships, partnerships, events, digital activations, and day-to-day brand support in Evanston, IL.

You will collaborate across teams to manage materials, requests, and timelines, coordinate budgets, and help deliver campaigns with accuracy and on-brand execution. The role offers standard business hours and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in marketing, customer marketing, sales support, events, communications, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, requests, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to organize information, maintain trackers, and manage project details effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the marketing team across brand, customer marketing, eCommerce, sponsorship, partnership, and event initiatives.
• Help coordinate project timelines, meeting agendas, recaps, follow-ups, and internal communications to keep work moving forward.
• Support the development, organization, and distribution of marketing materials, assets, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with routing materials for internal review and approval, ensuring feedback is captured and shared clearly.
• Maintain trackers for sponsorship and partnership commitments, deadlines, assets, and performance recaps.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, creative, and agency partners to ensure materials are accurate, on-brand, and aligned to business priorities.
