Job summary

Ornua Co-operative Limited in Evanston, IL is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support a fast-paced marketing team across brand, customer marketing, eCommerce, sponsorships, partnerships, events, and digital activations.

You will help develop sales materials, manage customer requests, and keep project timelines, assets, and communications organized while working closely with sales and creative partners to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in marketing, customer marketing, sales support, events, communications, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to organize information, maintain trackers, and manage project details effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the marketing team across brand, customer marketing, eCommerce, sponsorship, partnership, and event initiatives.
• Coordinate project timelines, meeting agendas, recaps, follow-ups, and internal communications to keep work moving forward.
• Support the development, organization, and distribution of marketing materials, assets, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with tracking budgets, invoices, purchase orders, samples, and other administrative needs as required.
• Partner with the sales team to develop, update, and manage customer-facing materials, sell sheets, presentations, product information, and promotional support assets.
• Manage incoming customer marketing requests, ensuring clear intake, prioritization, follow-up, and delivery against timelines.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, creative, and agency partners to ensure materials are accurate, on-brand, and aligned to business priorities.
• Maintain organized files and trackers for customer materials, requested assets, approvals, and final deliverables.
• Support coordination with internal, agency and vendor partners, including meeting scheduling, note-taking, asset routing, status tracking, and follow-up.
• Help prepare briefs, project inputs, background materials, and recap documents for marketing initiatives.
• Assist with routing materials for internal review and approval, ensuring feedback is captured and shared clearly.
• Maintain organized documentation, project trackers, and shared resources to support team efficiency.
