SCS Engineers in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our growing Upper Midwest offices. We are looking for a team player who is detail oriented, can take direction, work independently, and adapt to evolving priorities.

Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with excellent proofreading skills. Hybrid schedule includes in‑office days and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with AI tools (Microsoft Copilot) is a plus
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and manage deadlines
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing
• Valid Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

• Support event marketing, client meetings, and prospect outreach activities
• Coordinate the marketing presence at campus recruiting events
• Purchase, store and track inventory of promotional items
• Assist with proposal development and client communications
• Maintain marketing resources for proposals and project profiles
• Support sales tracking by updating CRM records
• Coordinate client feedback and routine communications for service quality
• Prepare reports and emails for marketing campaigns
• Support annual and monthly marketing planning and deadlines
• Track and report ROI of marketing plan tactics
• Improve team efficiency with templates and organized records
• Complete other marketing and business administration responsibilities
