Job summary

AEG Presents is seeking a Data Analyst in Los Angeles to advance data modeling and analytics across the Digital department. You will partner with marketing and other teams to derive actionable insights, improve data integrity, and support decision making for live events and campaigns.

The role requires strong SQL and data visualization skills, with experience in Python or R, and a passion for music and entertainment trends.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
2–4 years of related work experience.
Strong quantitative analytics and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to learn quickly and manage projects independently.
Proficiency in data science languages (Python and/or R).
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
Experience with music or entertainment industry a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee and improve data models and consolidation efforts.
Set up processes for monitoring, tracking, and trending department data.
Build marketing-focused analytical reports across BUs for targeted experiences.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create segmented audiences.
Work with internal and external clients to develop standard reports.
Build Data Warehouse capabilities by indexing datasets and integrating new data.
Extract and analyze large datasets from multiple systems for insights.
Perform data exploration on user behavior, segmentation, and funnels.
