Job summary

City of New Orleans is seeking a Market Manager to work with the French Market Vendor Committee to screen new vendors and merchandise, and to maintain strong relationships with vendors. They will also resolve problems and oversee the issuing of violation notices for vendors not compliant with market policy and standards.

The Market Manager will supervise the operations of the Flea Market Cashier’s Office and assist with cashier tasks when needed; and related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years of professional administrative experience, two in vendor/booth/retail management.
• Experience in merchandise management is a plus.
