Job description

Program surveys using online survey platforms.

You are naturally curious and motivated by understanding the “why” behind the numbers and the story behind people’s experiences. You do more than review data; you ask thoughtful questions, identify patterns, and translate both quantitative and qualitative findings into insights that others can use. Whether you are developing a survey, facilitating a focus group, analyzing trends, or presenting findings to leadership, you know how to connect research, data, and strategy in a way that supports clearer, more informed decisions. You are skilled at turning complex information into a meaningful story that helps others understand what is happening, why it matters, and what actions to consider next. If this sounds like you, please read on!
The Market Research Manager plays a key role in designing and leading quantitative and qualitative research initiatives that deliver actionable insights for internal and external clients. Reporting to the Business Lead, Market Research, this role provides end-to-end research support, from identifying research objectives and selecting methodologies to reporting findings and presenting recommendations. This position is ideal for an experienced researcher who enjoys managing a variety of projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, and transforming data into clear, compelling insights that drive action. In this role, you will work across a variety of research areas, using both primary and secondary research to uncover insights that help guide decisions. That may include designing online surveys and polls, leading focus groups, supporting web-based qualitative research, and using other quantitative and qualitative methods to better understand audiences and their needs. You will also dig into secondary research such as competitive intelligence, membership and market analysis, industry trend monitoring, news and environmental scanning, and other research that helps identify trends, opportunities, and emerging needs.

  • Partner with stakeholders through the review and approval process.
  • Extract and prepare survey samples from membership databases.
  • Program surveys using online survey platforms.
  • Manage survey distribution and oversee data collection efforts.
  • Analyze research data and identify key findings, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare written reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into business strategies and decision-making.
  • Conduct secondary research, including competitive intelligence, membership analysis, industry trend monitoring, and ad hoc research projects.
  • Stay current on emerging research methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Research, Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive experience in market research and data analysis, including quantitative, qualitative, and secondary research methodologies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience using statistical analysis software such as SPSS, R, or SAS.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret statistical relationships, identify trends, and develop meaningful conclusions.
  • Experience developing online surveys, preferably using QuestionPro and/or Qualtrics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
  • A collaborative team player who is continuously looking for ways to improve processes and capabilities.
Desired
