Job summary

Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) is seeking a Market Relations Representative I to support billing and service order activities under market rules. You will liaise with TDSP field technicians, REPs and end-use customers to ensure compliance.

Key duties include handling inquiries, resolving MarkeTrak and CIS issues, dispatching service orders, and ensuring tariff compliance through report review. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience in customer service,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years in customer service, collections, and/or cashiering.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to read and understand policy and procedures pertaining to the utility and PUC rules.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with Retail Providers, TNMP, ERCOT and customers on service order and billing inquiries.
• Review and resolve MarkeTrak issues.
• Resolve CIS exceptions including service orders and meter reads.
• Ensure service orders are dispatched and completed timely.
• Review reports to ensure market/tariff compliance.
• Handle Safety Net requests and LOAs.
