Job Title: Market Operations Manager

Location: Hilton Head, SC

Job Summary:

The Market Operations Manager will oversee and enhance the operational performance of practices within the Novant Health, Hilton Head market. This role involves daily interactions that reflect a positive organizational attitude, demonstrating and modeling the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The Manager will be responsible for managing practice operations, including human resources, customer service, financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and business information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

• Conduct weekly rounds with staff and physicians to ensure practices operate efficiently and meet performance standards.
• Coordinate with practice managers to streamline practice operations and address any operational issues.

Human Resources & Staff Management:

• Oversee physician human resources requirements, including onboarding of new physicians and staff.
• Ensure effective integration of new hires, including acquiring office space, procuring necessary supplies and equipment.

Customer Service & Satisfaction:

• Promote and monitor high standards of customer service and satisfaction within the practices.
• Implement and support practice initiatives related to referral management, task management, and financial collections.
• Conduct financial analysis and manage practice budgets to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Analyze practice profiles and financial data to drive strategic decisions.

Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:

• Ensure practices adhere to regulatory requirements from agencies such as OSHA, CLIA, Medi-Cal, and DHS.
• Manage Meaningful Use attestations and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

Strategic Planning & Development:

• Collaborate with the Market Operations Director to develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the market.
• Work with physician leadership to identify and develop new business lines, revenue streams, and cost mitigation strategies.

Business Information Systems:

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of business information systems to support practice operations and data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and human resource management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and manage multiple priorities.
