Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking an energetic Market Manager to lead our Hanover, MD branch. You will oversee branch operations, partner with sales reps, and drive performance and exceptional service for customers in the market.

With 4+ years in management and operations, you will design staffing plans, manage recruiting, coach a growing team, analyze performance data, and build strong community ties to expand the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of management and operations experience.
• Staffing experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with recruitment, customer service, and leading teams.
• Comfort with operational software and basic data tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive change.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and work closely with sales representatives.

• Develop knowledge of local markets and trends for partners.
• Ensure compliance with Workers’ Comp, HR, Legal, etc.
• Owns budgeting, forecasting, and monthly P&L review.
• Promote brand through community relationships.
• Develop and implement recruiting plans to meet hiring needs.
• Analyze data to drive improvements in order fulfillment and retention.
• Maintain client satisfaction through visits and service adjustments.
• Lead resolution of escalated issues and coach the team.

• Branch operations, management, and working closely with sales representative
• Designs and deploys resources to drive performance and service to all customers within the market
• Develops deep knowledge of your assigned geographic markets and becomes the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
• Communicates and coordinates the various aspects of branch operations required to ensure compliance (Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, Human Resources, Legal, etc)
• Owns the financial management of branch operations (budgeting, forecasting, monthly P&L review, credit, and collections, etc.)
• Promotes brand awareness by creating and maintaining community relationships and involvement
• Develops and implements an effective recruiting plan to ensure the availability of associates to meet current and anticipated hiring needs
• Analyzes and uses operational information and data to generate positive actions and results to drive improvement plans related to order fulfillment, recruiting, safety, and associate and client retention
• Ensures client satisfaction by monitoring current activity, adjusting plans or services as needed, making regular in-person visits to ensure satisfaction and identify additional client needs, while seeking opportunities to grow the business
• Leads resolution of difficult/escalated issues through effective negotiation tactics
• Hiring, training, coaching and team development
• Assigns goals and drives accountability to develop a fully operational and qualified team
• Promotes colleague retentionand growth

Your Attributes

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with strong emphasis on management and operations
• Staffing experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with recruitment, customer service, and leading teams
• Comfort with using operational software, Microsoft Office products, and basic data management tools for analysis
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage change
• Effective at motivating team members to achieve performance targets
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively across all platforms
• Desire to lead andmake solid business decisions
• Provide results-oriented solutions for branch needs

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job

MVR Requirements:

Must have a valid drivers’ license with a driving record indicating a safe driving history acceptable to the company and at all times remain eligible to drive a motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.
