Job summary

The Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a Market Owner to lead a market comprising multiple hospitals. You will oversee growth, clinical excellence, and the financial goals of VEG in your region, empowering teams to deliver outstanding emergency care.

You will collaborate with hospital leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategy, build partnerships with referring veterinarians, and ensure VEG remains the go-to brand for veterinary emergencies.

Qualifications

7 to 10 years of relevant leadership experience.
Experience leading multi-site veterinary or service businesses preferred.
Analytical with ability to identify opportunities while focusing on the mission.
Proven track record in building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Drive multiple hospitals in your market with clinical, operational, and cultural excellence.
Coach hospital leaders to drive growth and customer experience.
Build relationships with veterinarians and community partners to elevate VEG’s reputation.
Own and manage market P&L, drive revenue growth, and budgets.
Champion training and development to upskill teams.
Hire and retain top talent and build empowered teams.
Collaborate with HR, Legal, Technology to bring resources to hospitals.
Monitor market trends and identify future hospital locations.
Represent VEG and engage with community to give back.
