Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead a VEG hospital with ownership mindset and a focus on culture, engagement, efficiency, growth, and financial health. You will empower VEGgies with tools, training, and autonomy to thrive while building partnerships with referring vets and local businesses.

You will guide operations in a fast-paced ER setting, foster an inclusive workplace, and drive performance to support community emergency care.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing large teams (50+) and staff development.
• Financial management experience including budgeting, payroll, and accounts receivable.
• Operations management including inventory and facilities management.
• Willingness to be coached and develop professionally.
• On-site role; not remote.
• Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong odors.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit, hire, onboard, and develop VEG hospital staff.
• Deliver a mind-blowing experience for patients, customers, and VEGgies at the hospital.
• Ensure hospital is compliant, well-maintained, and operationally sound.
• Drive hospital performance to achieve high revenue and margins.
• Help grow VEG's local reputation and presence in the industry.
