Qualifications

Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr

This role is fully remote; however, location in New York City, The Hamptons, Aspen, or South Florida is preferred for in-person owner meetings.

Headquartered in New York, Rove provides exceptional, high-end guest experiences in thoughtfully designed spaces across New York City, The Hamptons, Aspen, and Florida and other top destinations across the US. We are venture funded and growing rapidly, led by a founding team with experience at Y Combinator, SpaceX, Snap, June Homes, Avant Stay, Kasa Living, Sonder, and more.

The Role:

As a Market Lead Account Executive, you'll lead expansion in a new market for Rove, work directly with the US-based Head of Business Development (Hamptons, Florida, LA or Aspen). You will meet directly with property owners, real estate brokers, and channel partners to successfully scale our luxury property count within that market. Cold outreach and inbound lead qualification is a critical part of the role, also including:

Lead Qualification and Outreach:

  • Identify sales opportunities by qualifying inbound leads (suggest suitable options based on client requirements)
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Qualify, manage, and progress a pipeline of potential owners and brokers.
  • Engage with owners and brokers through calls, emails, and chats on partner platforms, effectively promoting the luxury Rove experience.

Business Development:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Arrange viewings or meetings between (prospective) clients and the Head of Real Estate.
  • Streamline routine tasks within the Real Estate team to optimize performance and focus on strategic tasks.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Establish connections with brokers, prospective owners, and 3rd party agencies
  • Rapidly iterate on feedback to enhance team, workflow, market occupancy, and revenue.

Market Analysis and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the internal pricing team, sharing insights and market research for property comping and underwriting.
  • Work closely with operations and launch teams to maximize home occupancy upon availability.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years experience in sales and 2+ years in an account executive role
  • Shrewd negotiator with a keen ability to close deals!
  • Run exploratory/discovery calls, be an active listener, manage objections and negotiation
  • Empathy and sales skills- ideally within Tech, Hotel or Real Estate sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in sales software and managing a sales funnel such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
  • Customer-first mindset and closing mindset with a sense of urgency
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A coachable individual able to implement feedback
  • A highly consultative, active listener, with strong objection management and negotiation skills

Bonus Points if...

  • Sales and/or Real Estate experience in short term rentals or hotels
  • Geographical awareness of New York City’s neighborhoods and transit time/options
  • Experience working with tech products (like: HubSpot, Slack, OpenPhone, G-Suite, & Guesty)
