Overview

This is a remote, field sales position based in the United States. As a Solution Sales Executive for Jira Service Management, you will be a subject matter expert in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Enterprise Service Management (ESM). Your role involves driving new sales motions, co-selling initiatives, collaborating with the sales team to identify opportunities, and developing tailored solutions for Atlassian’s largest and most strategic customers.

Responsibilities

  • Expert Product Selling: Act as a knowledge leader in the ESM/ITSM industry to build sales strategies and position Jira Service Management in Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs and propose suitable, value-based solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Account Executives, Marketing, Account Management, Product, and Partner Management teams to align strategies and explore co-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience within large Fortune 500 enterprise accounts.
  • Extensive experience in ITSM/ESM solution sales, building complex sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we aim for equitable, competitive compensation. Our baseline ranges are higher than market average, with actual pay determined by skills and experience. In the US, pay zones are:

  • Zone A: $225,900 - $301,200
  • Zone B: $203,300 - $271,100
  • Zone C: $187,500 - $250,000
