Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) is seeking a Market Insights Intern to support the Communications & Customer Engagement team in Omaha, NE. This on-site internship provides hands-on experience in market research, customer analytics, reporting, and marketing materials development for TMV’s commercial activities.

The 12-week program runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, offering exposure to customer engagement metrics, event tracking in the CRM, and collaboration with experienced professionals

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, data analytics, information systems, economics or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize assignments effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new tools, processes and concepts.
• Interest in customer engagement, marketing research or analytics and the energy industry.
• Collaborative and able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support market research and business intelligence initiatives.
• Assist with collecting and analyzing customer engagement data.
• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to support decision‑making.
• Help maintain and improve team reporting and data quality.
• Support CRM event tracking and documented procedures for ongoing improvement.
• Assist with communications materials and marketing collateral updates.
• Support proposals and RFP activities as needed.
