Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Market People Partner to act as a trusted HR advisor and leader for the NAPA People team across assigned locations. The role drives talent acquisition, planning, onboarding, learning and development, engagement, performance management, compensation and compliance with a focus on implementing high-impact people initiatives.

The candidate will partner with leaders to align people strategies, manage the employee lifecycle, and support the organization’s priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years implementing HR processes in a high growth environment.
• Experience leading teams and driving results without direct reporting authority.
• Collaboration with leadership and business partners to drive projects.
• Experience supporting multiple locations to drive HR operational success.
• Experience with payroll, compliance, benefits administration and unemployment claims processing.
• Familiarity with HR laws and state-to-state differences.
• Strong MS Office and HRIS reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with leadership to identify short and long-term talent needs and implement staffing plans.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to review staffing needs and ensure coverage for priority functions.
• Assess workforce capabilities and identify readiness and succession gaps for targeted development.
• Oversee performance management, coaching, and disciplinary documentation.
• Manage onboarding, training, compliance, and employee development programs.
• Lead employee-focused events and engagement activities throughout the year.
• Analyze employee lifecycle data to inform retention and engagement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and accurate payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff.
