Blake’s Beverage Co. is seeking a Market Manager to lead distributor performance and retail results across Virginia and Maryland. This is a field-based role with travel across both states, with Richmond, VA preferred and DC metro area considered.

The Market Manager will own day-to-day distributor relationships, attend GSMs, manage pricing and forecasts, and drive in-market activations. A strong beverage sales background and data-driven approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in beverage alcohol or distributor sales
• Proven ability to build distribution across multiple distributors
• Strong selling, negotiation and presentation skills
• Experience with depletion and scan data (VIP, Circana or equivalent)
• Self-directed with ability to plan a two-state field schedule
• Proficient with Karma, Paylocity, CRM, Excel/PowerPoint
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• At least 21 years of age

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day relationship with all 9 VA/MD distributors: pricing, forecasting, orders, add suggestions, logistics
• Prepare, attend and present at monthly distributor meetings and GSMs with top wholesalers
• Review inventories, reminders and revisions for top wholesalers
• Plan and run crew drives and distributor incentives; track KPI execution
• Conduct a ride-with with distributors; build quarterly business reviews for top wholesalers
• Sell and close key independents and regional accounts, in-market and off-premise
• Pursue distribution opportunities across the territory
• Log market activity in Karma; report bi-weekly market recap and plan of action
