Job summary

Utz is seeking a Market Development Leader II for Elkton, MD and Wilmington, DE. You will partner with Independent Operators and Master Distributors to grow market share through proactive selling strategies and strong relationship management.

You will lead store visits, prepare weekly KPI reports, and collaborate on promotions, planograms, and new product introductions to expand distribution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in sales operations, preferably in snacks, grocery, or beverage.
• Experience with Independent Operators and Master Distributors.
• DSD experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate sales, service, and merchandising strategies to IOs and distributors to gain market share.
• Prepare weekly volume and inventory reports and KPI scorecards.
• Conduct store visits to build relationships with store management and decision makers.
• Plan workshops with the MDL team to maximize sales potential and tool usage.
• Support promotional activity and store level planograms to drive distribution.
• Ensure IOs and distributors are maintained as company partners.
