Hy-Vee is hiring a Market Grille Clerk to serve up fresh, made-to-order items and create a welcoming experience for every customer. You will manage orders, help with daily prep, and ensure food safety while maintaining a clean work area in a fast-paced store kitchen.

The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and reliability, with training provided and opportunities to grow within Hy-Vee's Market Grille department.

Formación

• No formal education requirement; training provided.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service, greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the telephone promptly.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare and replenish product as necessary.
• Pull product from the cooler or freezer to prepare for cooking and ensure adequate food supply.
• Run the department register, receive payment, and make change where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout your shift.
• Price and order product and deliver orders as needed.
• Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned.
• Report to work when scheduled and on time.
