Qualifications

• No formal education required; Hy-Vee provides training.
• Six months or less of related work experience; food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter.
• Take customer orders and answer the telephone promptly.
• Review daily orders and prepare/replenish products as needed.
• Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Operate the department register and handle payments.
• Assist in other store areas and support team with special projects.
