Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Market Grille Clerk to join the Market Grille team. You will greet customers, take orders at the counter, and help prepare and replenish made-to-order items with a focus on safety and quality.

In a fast-paced store kitchen, you’ll work closely with teammates to ensure accurate orders, friendly service, and a welcoming customer experience. Prior food service experience is a plus, and we provide all necessary training.

Qualificações

• No education requirement; we will provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service, greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and going the extra mile to make every visit a positive one
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the telephone promptly, providing helpful service including taking product orders
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare and replenish product as necessary
• Pull product from the cooler or freezer to prepare for cooking and ensure an adequate food supply is ready and on hand
• Handle food safely and review the status and appearance of food for freshness at all times
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout your shift
• Check in product, put product away, and review invoices as needed
• Run the department register, receive payment, and make change where applicable
• Remove trash in a timely manner and wash dishes as necessary
• Price and order product and deliver orders as needed
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines
• Report to work when scheduled and on time
