Job summary

Zurich North America in Dallas/Addison is seeking a market-facing Middle Market Underwriter to strengthen our Property & Casualty book across the Dallas and Oklahoma territories. The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office to maintain visibility in the market.

You will leverage underwriting acumen to assess risk, price appropriately, and collaborate with internal teams while growing relationships with preferred distribution partners.

Qualifications

• Underwriting/Market Facing experience required in the role
• Knowledge of lines of business and regulatory guidelines preferred
• Experience with quotes for new and renewal business timelines and Microsoft Office usage

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with broker partners and customers across all industries
• Apply property & casualty underwriting expertise for risk assessment, exposure evaluation and pricing
• Collaborate with claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and other underwriting teams
• Grow relationships with distribution partners within an assigned territory
