Job summary

Zurich North America in Dallas/Addison seeks an experienced Large Casualty Underwriter to join the National Account team. You will evaluate, price, and negotiate complex large-scale risks and cultivate broker and client relations to drive profitable growth.

Role can be filled at Executive Underwriter or AVP, Underwriting Director level, with responsibilities including underwriting, market-facing production, and managing broker relationships in the South Region, in a hybrid Dallas office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years underwriting or market facing experience.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 3+ years in underwriting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business.
• Market facing and production within the Large Casualty, National Accounts division.
• Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines and rating manual rules.
• Developing and maintaining broker relationships in the South Region.
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments.
