Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a Market Director to lead advisor teams and develop future leaders in the Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY markets. This role focuses on attracting talent, onboarding new advisors, and driving growth through local relationships and community engagement.

The position requires expertise in financial services and the Thrivent Advice Process, with responsibility for coaching use of Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro and Thrivent tools; travel up to 50% may be needed.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree strongly preferred.
5+ years in financial services attracting and hiring talent.
Proven track record of attracting, selecting, developing financial advisors.
Experience hiring financial advisors on teams.
Licensing and registrations across states or plans to obtain within 90 days.
Experience leading groups and presenting to drive advisor success.

Responsibilities

Recruit and retain talent across channels through broad networks and COIs.
Launch and support new financial advisors in their first year.
Develop business plans with advisors leveraging referrals and local communities.
Conduct joint field work and provide case consultation as needed.
Coach on the Thrivent Advice Process and tools (Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro).
Grow future team leaders through matrix partner collaboration.
