Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive management in acute care, preferably ED or FED.
• Detail oriented with ability to oversee multi-site operations.
• Demonstrated nursing management in FED, hospital, or outpatient settings.
• Extensive knowledge of nursing and patient care activities.
• Effective management and supervisory practices; strong written and verbal skills.
• Strong communication with diverse groups including physicians and staff.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting for departments or projects.
• Commitment to compliance with policies and Code of Conduct.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (TJC, CMS, TX).

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of FEDs within the market and align with UHS standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies; train staff and manage budgets.
• Perform market analysis and implement strategies to meet budgeted performance.
• Foster open communication with medical providers and EMS partners.
• Lead strategic planning and promote a culture of service excellence.
