Job summary

UpCore Solutions is seeking a Director of Emergency Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Emergency Department in Texas. You will oversee department operations, staffing, financial performance, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance while driving service line growth.

The successful candidate will have a BSN, RN licensure, ED nursing leadership experience, and a track record of improving patient care, throughput, and staff development in a large acute

Qualifications

• BSN required for the role.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the applicable state or multi-state compact license.
• Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Minimum one year of inpatient acute hospital nursing leadership experience required.
• Three or more years of progressive healthcare leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of Emergency Department operations.
• Ensure safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and clinical standards.
• Optimize patient throughput, staffing, and operational efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Champion patient experience initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing leaders and staff.
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership on strategic growth.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor, productivity, supplies, and capital resources.
