The position of Market Development Manager for the Beauty marketis responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives profitable sales growth in the North American region. This role combines strategic market assessment, opportunity sizing, and sales enablement to accelerate growth in existing markets while identifying and capturing new opportunities. The Market Development Manager will guide customer-specific initiatives and drive new business growth in priority marketing and applications. They will partner with sales, global marketing and product development to provide actionable guidance linked to the regional strategy.




As a Market Development Manager, you will:



  • Define and implement a five-year regional growth strategy based on market trends, value pool assessments, and customer needs.

  • Identify and prioritize market opportunities using detailed segmentation, sizing of value pools, and "where to play/how to win" analysis.

  • Lead market intelligence efforts to evaluate emerging trends and competitive dynamics, ensuring strategies are agile and data-driven.

  • Develop and deliver sales attack plans, including opportunity sizing, prioritization frameworks, and playbooks for customer interactions.

  • Provide actionable insights and tools to the sales organization, including customer-specific strategies, pricing guidance, and promotional assets.

  • Ensure alignment with sales on market priorities and key product opportunities.

  • Build marketing materials and content that resonate with customer needs and drive lead generation.

  • Manage and prioritize the new product development pipeline for the Aptar Beauty portfolio, working closely with Platform Managers to define opportunities.

  • Lead commercialization plans for new products, including launch strategies and promotional campaigns.

  • Support sales efforts by creating compelling customer-facing presentations and ensuring consistent messaging across the region.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to align marketing initiatives with operational capabilities and priorities.

  • Serve as the regional voice in global forums, providing market insights to influence regional strategy.




Who We are Looking For



Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or Engineering required.

  • MBA preferred.



Experience



  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in marketing or business development / commercial role.

  • Beauty or packaging industry experience, required

  • Experience working with Beauty market CPG companies or contract packager/filler network, preferred

  • Proven success in developing regional market strategies using opportunity sizing and segmentation



Skills/Abilities



  • Technical understanding of molding, and multiple component assembly processes and or knowledge of the aerosol products market is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Recognized ability to lead and drive decision making without direct authority.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate across all levels within and outside of the organization.

  • Works well under deadline pressures; ability to prioritize and manage multiple and conflicting priorities. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to think strategically as well as deal with day-to-day issues.

  • Persuasive negotiator able to work across disciplines.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products.



Travel Requirements
Up to 20-30%, as needed

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
