Utz Quality Foods seeks a Market Development Leader II in Chattanooga, TN. You will partner with Independent Operators and Master Distributors to drive sales profitability and market penetration, while communicating initiatives and ensuring mutual compliance with contractual terms.

Role requires frequent travel, strong leadership, and proven ability to grow market share through strategic promotions, store-level insights, and effective collaboration with the Sales Operations team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in sales operations.
• Knowledge of Independent Distribution models and IO/ Distributor agreements.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive communication, ethical selling and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate sales, service and merchandising strategies to IOs and distributors.
• Preserve obligations and rights of IOs and Distributors.
• Prepare weekly volume and inventory reports and KPI scorecards.
• Provide a weekly Sales/IO Work-with planner to SOD.
• Conduct store visits and reinforce company promotions and resets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize market share and route performance.
• Lead workshops with MDL team to leverage tools and growth opportunities.
• Ensure food safety programs are followed and policies are adhered to.
• Travel 75% to 90% across assigned region.
