Job summary

Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Market Development Manager to lead regional thought leader engagement and market initiatives in the U.S.

You will collaborate with field teams, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to implement strategic programs and educate key external stakeholders about FCS and sHTG. You will identify priority accounts, build physician networks, and train regional staff on disease state education, compliant speaker programs, and brand messaging to drive regional marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or related field.
• MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
• Total 7+ years of cross-functional experience in commercial life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep clinical and commercial knowledge of the FCS/sHTG market in the region.
• Drive thought leader engagement, insights, and speaker programs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing.
• Provide field-based training on disease state and product messaging.
• Manage regional marketing projects, budgets, and execution.
