Job summary

Jordan & Jordan is seeking a Market Data Analyst to support financial services clients in day-to-day management of market data services, including invoice processing, inventory management, and vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in a market data environment with knowledge of inventory systems, billing processes, and MACs. Strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a market data department within financial services.
• Hands-on experience with market data inventory management systems; MDM experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with market data vendors, products, and subscription billing practices.
• Experience processing market data invoices and managing moves, adds, and changes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial or operational reports.

Responsibilities

• Process and review market data vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date market data inventory records within MDM.
• Process moves, adds, and changes (MACs), including new service requests, modifications, and cancellations.
• Coordinate with market data vendors regarding invoicing, payment status, billing discrepancies, and accounts payable requirements.
• Reconcile vendor invoices against inventory records to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate billing.
• Support monthly financial close activities, including invoice reconciliation, accruals, and reporting.
• Work closely with internal market data, finance, procurement, and accounts payable teams to support daily operations.
• Assist with identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, billing processes, and operational efficiency.
