Ardelyx, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Market Access Training to lead onboarding and ongoing capability-building for market access and patient services.

The role focuses on Field Reimbursement teams, serving as an SME in reimbursement and patient access, and partnering across internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning solutions. The role will design curricula, deliver live and on-demand training, and continuously enhance programs to address payer policies,

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree; 8–10 years in pharma/biotech or equivalent.
• Experience designing, developing, and facilitating training programs.
• FRM/ARM experience with payer policies and patient access.
• Ability to travel nationally ~40–50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver onboarding programs for Field Reimbursement and other access functions.
• Create and maintain ongoing training curriculum and monitor market access trends.
• Facilitate live, virtual, and on-demand training sessions using adult learning principles.
• Deliver training on payer policies, coverage requirements, prior authorization, and denial management.
• Partner with FRMs and ZAMs to observe field interactions and gather insights.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to design materials (eLearning, job aids, workshops).
• Lead quarterly educational opportunities with internal/external experts on trends and best practices.
