Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking a on-site operations professional to plan and direct all activities related to storage, transport and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes at client locations.

You will manage onsite staff, act as liaison with vendors, and ensure safety and environmental standards are met across multiple sites, while handling contract administration and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• HAZWOPER Certification is required.
• RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience.
• OSHA 24-Hour Certification.
• Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire drug/alcohol testing may be required.
• Experience with SAP S4, Salesforce, WMSolutions, Conur and Coupa.
• Must live and work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of waste from client site, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting and loading.
• Consult with client to identify cost-saving opportunities and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations by inspections and reporting; resolve issues promptly.
• Administer client/vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.
• Promote a safety-focused culture; ensure staff are trained to perform duties safely.
• May perform labor-intensive tasks such as drum collection and bulking.
