Job summary

Anduril Industries, based in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of systems requirements for its Maritime Heavy Metal programs.

You will manage requirements, coordinate with test development for verification planning, and represent the requirements discipline in reviews and change boards.

This foundational role shapes how heavy metal proves capability to customers and aligns with defense standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years (Mid) or 7+ years (Senior) of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, requirements management, or verification and validation on complex hardware programs.
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Cameo, Teamcenter or equivalent).
• Strong experience with lifecycle processes, including decomposition, interface definition, and change control.
• Experience developing and managing VCRMs, DVP&Rs, or similar verification docs.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the requirements database with unique identifiers and standards.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability from customer specs to subsystem components.
• Define verification methods and ensure plans are executable and milestone-aligned.
• Represent the requirements discipline in SRR/SDR/PDR/CDR/TRR and change boards.
