Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required in Business Management, Marine Administration, Transportation, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience supervising ILWU Longshore personnel and coordinating labor
• Strong leadership, safety, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational needs and direct labor to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Supervise union-represented staff, counsel, discipline, and train as needed.
• Plan and document daily safety meetings; address hazards and ensure compliance.
• Oversee terminal operating systems and generate required reports/forms.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize cargo movement and cost control.
