Job summary

You will coordinate with vessel operations, cargo management, customer care, stevedores, and customers, act as the primary contact for inquiries, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in marine terminal, vessel, port, transportation, logistics, or related operations.
• Strong labor management, leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker who is adaptable and can build relationships with employees, customers, labor, and partners.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and service orientation.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Very proficient with operational systems, technology platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal operations, including crane, rail, truck, cargo washing, packaging and fleet maintenance.
• Promote a proactive, collaborative environment among management, labor, and service partners.
• Coordinate with vessel operations, cargo management, customer care, stevedores, and customers for efficient cargo flow.
• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries, appointments, operational issues, and service concerns.
• Monitor cargo handling to ensure safety, quality, and standards.
• Manage equipment availability, maintenance coordination, and terminal systems while supporting optimization and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate third-party services and invoicing with stakeholders to ensure safe operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
