Job summary

Global- a 1st Flagship Company is seeking a Safety, Environmental and Hazardous Material Technician II to support the Navy’s inactive ship fleet. The role involves waste management, atmospheric testing, and regulatory compliance at multiple locations including Bremerton, WA.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, ability to wear negative pressure respirators, and eligibility for a CONFIDENTIAL security clearance. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Maintains safety, environmental, hazardous material and waste knowledge.
• Willingness to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to operate company/government vehicles with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Waste management: oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage and disposal.
• Atmospheric testing for safe entry and hot work in confined spaces.
• Assist with vessel and facility inspections and daily waterfront checks.
• Maintain knowledge of safety, environmental, hazardous material, and waste regulations; ensure compliance.
• Occasional travel and overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide safety guidance and solutions.
• Maintain continuous safety oversight and a safe working environment.
• All other duties as assigned.
