Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an Industrial Engineer for the Production Controls team to develop and maintain discrete event simulations and critical chain schedules driving production planning for a next‑generation AI factory.

You will model capacity, optimize resource allocation, and translate analytics into actionable production control decisions while scripting automated workflows to boost throughput.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in production system design or manufacturing engineering for large complex products.
• Demonstrated capacity/rate modeling: built the model, defended the number, and held to it.
• Comfort with simulation or quantitative modeling (FlexSim, Simio, AnyLogic, Plant Simulation, or Python).
• No degree required. We hire on demonstrated capability (apprenticeship, Navy Nuclear Power School, military experience, trade background, or self-taught).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize plant layouts, material flow, and space for a new maritime factory.
• Develop capacity plans and rate models with sensitivity analysis behind the numbers.
• Sequence operations and define how a build is broken into stations and parallel runs.
• Discrete-event simulation of the factory and line to validate capacity before construction.
• Design and optimize the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Feed the precedence network that our dynamic scheduling system (LOKI) plans against.
• Provide technical direction on production system design across build processes and external partners.
• Define requirements to architecture/engineering firms and outside consultants.
